telus_update

A couple of days ago the LG G3's update status was changed to "Unknown" by TELUS without any reason whatsoever. The phone was expected to receive its Android 6.0 Marshmallow update on the 16th before the date was removed. However, the carrier has now updated the page to include the new date.

TELUS has updated their software update schedule and the LG G3 will now receive the update on March 29th.

Now all we have to do its wait.

Rogers Offering A Free Chromecast With The Purchase Any Android Device On A 2-Year Plan

Posted: 18 Mar 2016 07:26 PM PDT

Rogers Chromecast Promo

If you're planning to upgrade and happen to be on Rogers there's a sweet little promo running right now.  Rogers is currently offering a free Chromecast with the purchase of any Android device on a 2-year Share Everything Plan.  And it's not the old gen 1 Chromecast of yesteryear but a fancy schmancy 2nd generation Chromecast!

And if you happen to sign up with a Share Everything+ Plan, you also get treated to the existing Spotify Premium promo which snags you three premium accounts for 2 years.

Now for the conditions.  This promo is available for both new and existing users but this promo is online only.  It runs until April 14 or until supplies last so you do have some time to find a good deal on a phone.
