BlackBerry CEO Confirms New QWERTY Phone Is Coming Soon

Back in September, BlackBerry announced it will stop making phones. Instead the Canadian device maker is looking to license the BlackBerry brand to third-party manufacturers.

Then a few weeks ago came the DTEK60 which is the last self-made BlackBerry phone. But it will not be the last phone bearing the BlackBerry logo. Not by a long shot.

In an interview with Bloomberg this week, the company's CEO John Chen said a new QWERTY phone is in the works.

It's quite possible Chen is referring to a device that has already leaked in GeekBench. The phone codenamed Mercury is shown to be running on an unnamed octa-core Qualcomm processor clocked at 2.02GHz. It's possible we're talking about the Snapdragon 625, but nothing has been confirmed so far.

The phone in question also features 3GB of RAM and Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. That's what we know so far, but more information is bound to be unearthed soon.

Last month, the company's senior vice-president of global devices, Alex Thurber told BBC that a new keyboard BlackBerry phone will be released in the next six months.

So as you can see BlackBerry fans, your favorite company won't be abandoning you. On the contrary, expect good things out of BlackBerry soon.

You have to fire the weapon downwards to propel upwards, while occasionally firing the weapon forward to blast through walls and other obstructions.

User reviews for the game on Steam averages to 'Mostly Positive,' and has an 82/100 rating on Metacritic. Now the developers have released RunGunJumpGun on the Play Store for the low price $2.99 with no in-app purchases.
